Asteroids that spawn from the large asteroids appear to spawn in the same location with the same rotation. Looks like you have to shoot the same small rock multiple times but there's multiple small rocks there. RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THE EXE.

• It's a difficult Asteroids style game with modern sensibilities.
• My first time developing a video game with absolutely no coding experience.
  Started with the Game Maker Space Rocks tutorial and just kept stretching it.
• Lots of Power Ups and Upgrades to collect and purchase in game.
• Full release will be published here and to Steam. 
• Still a lot of work to do on the menus, a full sprite changeover and a lot a polish.
